One of Those Days

Dad was going to work half a day and then we were going to the temple. That was the plan anyway!
Friday night dad discovers the waterheater isn't working so he makes some phone calls and decides we need a new one. So he says he'll get up early and work till the store opens and then change out the waterheater and we can still go to the temple, So I wake up about 7 am hearing him clanking around downstairs and since it's too early for the store to be open I go down to see whats going on. There he was with the furnace torn apart and it was freezing. In the night the furnace had gone out too!
By early afternoon he had both problems taken care of and we still made it to the temple.
At times like this I wonder what the widows and single women do. What would I do without dad?

I am tired of the snow and cold so I went back and looked at pictures of better times and decided to share them with you. And I have no idea why this is blue and underlined. After losing my pictures twice before they downloaded I'm not going to worry about it. This was outside our condo on Mauii.
Camping with all the new babies and babies to be
Emilys baptism day at the park. Kamrons loving it.
And then there was the beach in California, soaking it in with Whit and Robin

I loved the flowers at Brittanys wedding. Maybe spring will come again.

Holidays over

We just got home from taking Jordan and Maria to the airport, so we are home alone and the house is too quiet, and so the holidays are officially over. Thats kind of hard knowing it will be the last for a couple of years. I get really tired sometimes and wonder if I can get through it but when it's all over there are so many good memories and good feelimgs we love having you come.
It was good to have all the kids home but too bad Todd didn't make it in time to see everyone. We missed Travs family but stopped to see them today. Of course we missed Colton and Brit and Josh also, hopefully next time.
Now it's time to take the tree down and hit the road with all the everyday things that have been put on hold.
Mostly this post is to see if I can do it without Maria at my side. I think I've got this part but the pictures might be another story. I'll have to try that again soon before I forget completely.
Thanks Maria and thanks to all of you for this laptop I am working on.

getting started !!

Christmas 08 started out rather quiet with just one little boy looking for Santa
Along with his Mommy and Daddy Jordan and Maria
And Kim and Frank and Princess
But as the day went on more and more joined us
by that night we had Shawn, Nicky, and Kellis familys
and they were snowed in

On Dads birthday we were all still snowed in so the next day
so we met again on the 27th and then we really had a house full.
